Our new website launched!

Actual Signs are proud to launch our first website! The simple, easily navigated style makes it easy for you to see what we do. You can find your way to the right course, and if we don’t offer the course here, we can point you in the right direction! What we offer can be split into 4 categories;

BSL Training. In this category we offer medium to long-term courses. Successful completion of our assessment courses are awarded with CACDP certificates, where successfully completing language development courses are awarded with Actual Signs certificates.

BSL Workshops. This is where we offer 1-3 day workshops. The topics are varied and don’t just focus on signing, but also confidence building, preparation, tips and knowledge, and much more. You may find that you have covered some subjects previously, but will benefit from going over the elements again for reinforcement.

BSL Access. In this category you can learn how to improve your skills and make you more confident in front of an audience. Examples of areas we focus on are; presenting, interviewing, reporting and interpreting.

BSL Activities. This category is the social side of Actual Signs! We will be organising day/evening events that will vary between one day or an away weekend. The aim here is to encourage interaction between deaf and hearing people, and of course, fun!
