- Level 4 NVQ Assessment

Interpreting in BSL / English

This page is very important so please read carefully both bullet points. In order to become a fully qualified interpreter via the NVQ route you need to complete the CACDP NVQ 4 interpreting units.

  • Interpreting Training Development

The Training Development component is for people who have completed Level 4 BSL and wish to become an Interpreter, but need to develop their interpreting skills to the required standard in order to undertake the assessment programme. Please note this is a training course. If you are interested in doing this course, please click here.

  • CACDP Level 4 NVQ in Interpreting - BSL/English

The NVQ programme is for people whose BSL/English Interpreting skills have been assessed as meeting the required standard. This is an assessment programme and NOT a training course. If you are interested in doing this course, please click here.

Prior to undertaking either programme you will be assessed at interview to determine your skill level. For more details on these interviews, please click on the links above.
