Assessment / Audit

We have a team of deaf trainers who will come to your place of work and make notes of suitable facilities you already have for deaf or hard of hearing people, so you can advertise these as a selling point of your organization, and adjustments which would need to be made for deaf people or hard of hearing people.

If you have a textphone or can accept enquiries by email, make sure you advertise these. Many organizations have a range of things which can help deaf customers, but no one knows about them! We can provide training in using these.

If you already have staff who have signing skills, such as CSWs or interpreters, we can conduct an in-house assessment of their skills and make recommendations or suggest training courses/workshops they may find of interest, as part of their professional development.
