Are you confident in your ability to produce and recognise the huge array of multi-channel signs that combine manual features signed by the hands and non-manual features such as facial expression or lip-pattern to form one sign?
This important aspect of BSL grammar is crucial in developing fluency in the language and Actual Signs are offering you an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and skill in this area to enable you to use and understand multi-channel signs appropriately and effectively in a range of formal and informal situations.
You will learn how a complex English structure can be conveyed in one or two BSL signs and how multi-channel signs fit into BSL sentence structure. The workshop will also address the issue of regional variation to make you aware of some of the different multi-channel BSL signs that are used to express the same meaning.
Actual Signs provides a safe, practical signing environment for BSL learning and discussion.
We only have 16 places available so book now to avoid disappointment!
