Before enrolling, all candidates are required to attend an initial interview to determine their suitability for this course.
The teaching course focuses on linguistic information and the importance of approaching BSL as a visual language. It also provides practical exercises and BSL practice events to improve your signing
Both of these elements work together to ensure that your signing has improved significantly and that you are prepared with background knowledge of the Level 3 NVQ if you want to progress onto this Assessment Program following the Language Development course.
The following is a list of topics which will be delivered on the course.
There will be no assessment during this training to prepare you for the Signature Level 3 NVQ Certificate in BSL. Your trainer will give you ongoing feedback in order for you to improve your BSL skills in readiness for undertaking Part 2 of the Signature Level 3 NVQ Certificate in BSL involving completion of a portfolio of BSL evidence.

All payments must be paid in full before the course starts. Charges will be imposed for late payments.
Refreshments: Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided. Candidates may bring their own lunch or visit a local café or shops. Kitchen facilities including fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle are available.
