Come along to our workshop and focus on your productive and receptive skills and knowledge when describing memories, people, places, objects and events etc. in BSL.

This workshop will familiarise you with:

  • When should you use description in BSL?
  • How can you describe things in BSL?
  • What are the linguistic rules in BSL for describing things?


Come along and let Mark Macqueen, a native BSL user and experienced teacher with extensive knowledge in BSL linguistics, sociolinguistics and poetry show you how to make guaranteed improvements in your receptive and productive visual BSL signing skills.
