Before enrolling, all candidates are required to attend an initial interview to determine their suitability for this course. As this is an assessment only programme, your skills should be at the appropriate level before joining. Actual Signs also offer Level 3 Language Development which is a teaching and information course designed to prepare candidates for the Level 3 NVQ in BSL.

Following the four induction days, you will be allocated an assessor and can begin the process of collecting evidence. This will be compiled in a portfolio provided by Actual Signs. Evidence will be reviewed in one-to-one tutorials with your assessor.

There will be no assessment/examination in this course. However during the course, your trainer will give you ongoing feedback in order for you to improve your BSL skills in readiness for Signature Level 3 NVQ in BSL, should you wish to continue on to this course.
